Awards Masterclasses
The Tourism Excellence Awards 2024-25 for Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland are open for applications, and we’re giving Destination Lincolnshire and Discover Rutland Partners - as well as fellow visitor economy businesses - the chance to learn from industry expert and award application whizz, Nell Barrington.
A tourism awards veteran, Nell has helped hundreds of businesses write winning applications over the last 15 years – including national Visit England winners! Having worked with Nell for the last two years to deliver our award masterclasses, we have seen first-hand how effective her support is, with 61% of those in attendance going on to make the shortlist.

If you have never entered the tourism awards or would like some help with your entry form this online workshop is for you. You will find out what makes an award-winning entry, get lots of practical advice and hints and tips. There will also be time for you to ask questions specific to your own entry form.

We're thrilled to be able to offer you this free opportunity to work with an industry expert to compile an award-winning application. These masterclasses are free for you to attend thanks to Lincolnshire County Council, Rutland County Council, North Lincolnshire Council, City of Lincoln Council, North East Lincolnshire Council, East Lindsey District Council, West Lindsey District Council, Boston Borough Council, North Kesteven District Council, South Kesteven District Council, and South Holland District Council.
Spaces are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
While we appreciate that things can crop up, if you do have to cancel we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours' notice, so we can offer the place to someone else.
